Veteran Smithsonian Chamber Players violinist Ian Swensen and fortepianist Kenneth Slowik join three talented younger artists in two of the best-loved masterpieces of the Viennese classical period, composed just one decade apart, Beethoven's magisterial Ghost Trio, Op. 70, No. 1, and Schubert's bubbly Trout Quintet, D667.
